Da Boat is the first single off MKHL upcoming project Lituation
In "Da Boat" i decided to take a note from my Twitter friends.
For a while Kodak Blacks infamous "let me drive the boat" meme was going viral however i took note of female artist like megan the stallion using the phrase as a call to dance with her fans.
I thought to myself, if i ever wanted to have a song remixed by these new amazing female artists id love for it be something they're already familiar with.
I drew inspiration from rappers like DA Baby and the Migos then twisted that feel it into my own style creating an incredibly infectious track. It's hard to listen just one time without the hook sinking its claws in.
"Da Boat" is the lead single from my project "Lituation" and will be the first song illl be displaying for the world to hear.
LITUATION
The songs chosen for this project i feel best reflect my childish love towards music. Some listeners might know a few of these songs from some of the best nights ive had in NYC
The Artwork (Designed by @Woodratjay) will be available as a snap back and hoodie design internationally. There is also a plan in motion for a partnership with upcoming high end brand Avant Guard (@KWYS) for a custom collection in Atlanta. I designed the Logo for AG and we’ve been coordinating a merch drop for a few months now.
Since the development of the scrape squad ive found myself in a place of constant development. Jakku Hatsuan and Alfa Blvck feature throughout the project with Ad libs, Verses and some times even production. `They're also the reason for the project title “Lituation” thanks to most of these songs suddenly just existing in the morning after a night so insane it could only be described as such
Even though some songs are subject to change, the image of this project is pretty clear. I don’t feel the need to impress anybody with my work but i wanted this project to speak volumes for my ability to be myself at all times.
My topics are diverse with the feel of songs like “Risk” shadowing tracks like “Netflix” with my approach remaining true to me. I don’t use a fun beat as a way to escape substance while my lyrics are relatable enough for you to find yourself answering the phone with hooks.
I worked with ILLVMINATE to create a sound unique too ourselves thanks to our partnership with Afromartian
i believe a good leader inspires and that’s what i want this project to do.

BIO
Mikhael Naylor (born May 8th, 1994) is a independent hip hop artist at the wheel of an empire of his own design. Raised in London, Kingsbury (UK), MK started rapping towards the end of his career as “Poorly Made” where he saw praise from publications like “Complex” and more.
He began working on his first album “Oh-Sama” in 2017 after partnering with Italian record label “Afromartian” in Italy. Influenced by underground New York rappers He’d cultivated into a squad, the Album gave birth to the Scrape Squad and MAX, The first official scrape squad track featured on DJ booth.
The traction from MAX lead MK and the Scrape squad into becoming official RAW artists playing premier sellout venues across the states.
MK has also cultivated an audience on Instagram known as the “Uchiha Gang” inspired by the anime “Naruto”. The UG community takes MK’s inspirations from anime displayed by songs like “kirin” and “Devil man” and has been known to randomly gain him major placement in the anime and HipHop social media community online
MK is also admin to the massive Facebook group “Soundcloud music unchained” showing his mind for business and mass distribution.
